Report by Jonathan Booth

After water and an uncertain forecast made a retreat sensible a couple of weeks ago I was keen to return and finish this route. As the sky was blue and the stream-flood exchange was full I thought that now was the time so off we went. We were soon at the cave and before long I was where I left off, rigging the main pitch. This is a really great section of cave and really feels 'in the thick of it' with water, exposure and technical rigging. The only hiccup was on the traverse of the main chamber, where instead of doing a one bolt hang off the final hanger, I did a Y hang between the 3rd and 4th to save on jamming a knot. However, after abbing down and looking up to check for rub I realised that the rope was going over a very nasty flake which called for a thought-provoking midrope changover and some re-rigging. Apart from that all went well and we were down and back out in good time.
