Common login problems...

Help! I don't have a password yet!

All new club members will have a password automatically generated. If you have never used the site before you can get your password by going to the password reset page. Enter your email address (the one you used when you filled in the joining form) and your password will be e-mailed back to you. You can then log in and change it to something you can remember.

If you are an older member who has never logged in before, you can also use the password reminder page. It might be though, that we don't have an email address for you so you. If the password reminder page tells you your email is not recognised, you will need to email the webmaster (webmaster@yucpc.org.uk) to get your login details.

I've forgotten my password.

You can use the password re-set page to instantly get a new password e-mailed back to you.

I've forgotten or changed my email address.

If you have changed your email address since you last logged in, just use your old one. Once logged in you can go to the "My Profile" page to change your email address.

If you're still having problems, just email the webmaster (webmaster@yucpc.org.uk).

Why have I been logged out?

You can be logged out for two main reasons:

Due to a period of inactivity.
This is where you have been logged into the same page without clicking on anything for more than 20 minuets. The site logs you out to save on server resources. This is known as your session having expired.

Logged in somewhere else.
You are only allowed to be logged in to the site in one window at a time (and on one computer). If you open a new browser window and log in again then try to use the first, it will log you out. Again, this is to keep server load to a minimum and for security.
