A great alternative entrance into the GG system, with a vocal connection with Bar Pot for significant sections of the route. A description and rigging guide can be found at Braemoor and both are largely very accurate. The only problem with either is that the Big Pitch traverse is not as shown on the rigging guide: we couldn't find the bolt in the ceiling and the middle bolt is no longer there. The traverse starts from the p hanger part way round the Bar Pot Big Pitch traverse and goes straight around the edge of the pitch to the key-hole slot just visible from the initial belay.

A couple of sections are pretty tight, so if you're planning an exchange it's worth sending the more 'substantial' people down Small Mammal so there's the option of turning back. Route finding on the way out wouldn't be simple for a group who hadn't already been down.

Just above the second pitch, Small Mammal has it's own "greasy slab" - I'd recommend whacking a sling round the top as it might be helpful on the way back up.
